Caring Transitions of Denver Southeast: Senior Move Management and Estate Sales

Caring Transitions of Denver Southeast is a locally owned senior transition company serving families south of Colfax, from Greenwood Village and Cherry Hills to Parker, Aurora, and the surrounding communities.

Anne Kedl and Jennifer Freeman own and operate this franchise personally. When you call, you reach one of them.

Over 2 years, we have helped more than 100 Denver families through moves to senior living, estate sales, online auctions, and full home cleanouts. We're small on purpose. It means the two owners are hands-on in every project, and it means we've seen up close what this kind of transition puts families through.

If you're ready to talk, request a free in-home consultation and we'll come to you.

The Challenge Denver Southeast Families Face

Most people who call us aren't planning ahead. They're in the middle of something hard: a parent who needs to move to a care community, a home to clear after a loss, or a family sorting through decades of belongings while juggling full-time jobs.

The logistics alone are a lot. The emotional weight on top of them is more.

Families worry that their parent's things will be treated as junk, or that an estate sale won't bring in enough to offset the cost of the move. They don't know what's valuable and what isn't. They don't want to hire five separate vendors and coordinate between them on a timeline they can barely track.

What happens when it stays unsolved is straightforward. The process drags, the home sits, and the family stays stuck in one of the hardest chapters they'll face. That's what we're here to help with.

Meet Anne Kedl and Jennifer Freeman

We recognize that a household of memories holds a lot of value. Everything in a home carries some history, and the way we sort, sell, and clear a space matters to the families who trust us with it.

Anne Kedl Cariing Transitions

Anne Kedl is a Certified Senior Relocation Specialist and co-owner of Caring Transitions of Denver Southeast. She spent years in Denver real estate doing staging and fix-and-flip projects before pivoting to manage a refugee resettlement program, helping families arriving in Colorado get into stable housing.

She came to this work knowing both sides. How a home is prepared for a transition, and what it costs emotionally to help someone through one. Read Anne's full bio here

 Jennifer Freeman Caring Transitions

Jennifer Freeman is the co-owner and Anne's business partner. She spent 15 years teaching first grade while simultaneously building an online skincare and haircare business, growing it all the way to the top of her company.

She led a large team and ran sales operations without letting either job slip. That discipline shows up every day in how we run projects. Read Jennifer's full bio here.

How Our Senior Transition Process Works

The process is straightforward, even when the situation isn't.

  1. Free in-home consultation
Anne or Jennifer comes to your home, walks the space, listens to your timeline and goals, and gives you a clear picture of the process before you commit to anything.
  2. A coordinated plan
From there, we build one plan around your move date. A single team handles sorting, packing, estate sale or CT Bids auction setup, and cleanout.
  3. A clean handoff
You make one call, not five. The home is cleared, proceeds are settled, and you have one fewer thing on your plate.

Request yours here.

Our Denver Southeast Services

Our Denver Southeast Services

Most families come to us expecting one service and leave knowing we can handle all of it. Here's what that looks like in practice.

Senior Move Management in Denver

Our senior move management service covers the full scope of a move to senior living: sorting, packing, coordinating with movers, and unpacking and setting up the new space.

It's especially useful for adult children managing the process remotely or while employed full-time, because we handle the coordination so they don't have to. The senior arrives at a home that's ready, not a pile of boxes.

Downsizing Services in Greenwood Village and Parker

Deciding what goes, what sells, and what donates is harder than it sounds, especially when you're standing in a home someone has lived in for 30 years.

Families in Greenwood Village and Parker rely on our downsizing services to walk through that process with a clear plan so nothing is left unresolved. We build the scope around what each family actually needs.

Estate Sales and Estate Cleanouts in Cherry Hills, Aurora, Centennial, Castle Rock and Parker

For families in Cherry Hills, Aurora, and across the Denver Southeast territory, we organize and run on-site estate sales and full home cleanouts.

Whether a home needs to be ready to list or an estate requires full clearance, we cover it from start to finish. The challenge is the same everywhere: too much to manage, too little time.

CT Bids Online Auctions in Denver

CT Bids is an online auction platform exclusive to Caring Transitions that puts items in front of buyers across the country.

Bidders compete against each other, which drives prices up rather than down, and we typically sell at least 95% of what we list. Most local competitors don't offer anything like it.

Locally Owned, Not a Franchise Call Center

Anne and Jennifer opened Caring Transitions of Denver Southeast to serve the communities south of Colfax, including Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills Village, Englewood, Parker, Aurora Hills, Castle Rock, Lone Tree, and Centennial.

The franchise is backed by the national Caring Transitions network, founded in 2006 and headquartered in Cincinnati. That backing means national training standards, background-checked staff, liability insurance, and access to the CT Bids platform.

It doesn't mean a call center. Every consultation, every project, and every follow-up runs through Anne or Jennifer directly.

There are other locally owned Caring Transitions locations across greater Denver and Colorado, each with its own owner. If you call us about a home outside our territory, we'll connect you with the owner who covers that area, and those owners do the same for us. It means you're always working with a local owner who knows your community, no matter where in the metro you start.

Being honest is part of how we earn trust. We'll tell you when an in-person estate sale isn't worth the cost, and we won't promise you prices we can't deliver. We'd rather point a family somewhere else than take on a project that won't serve them well.

That approach shows up in our relationships. We're a referral partner to senior living communities across the territory, including Brookdale, MorningStar, and Woodland Oaks, and to realtors and elder law attorneys whose own timelines depend on ours being accurate.

What Guides Our Work

Three things drive the way we operate, and all three are grounded in experience.

We give families a timeline and we keep it. "We get it done when we say we're going to get it done" isn't a marketing phrase. It's how our referral partners describe us, because their own timelines depend on ours being accurate.

We work as one coordinated team. Families shouldn't have to manage a mover, an estate sale company, and a cleanout crew separately. We run all of it under one plan.

We treat what's in a home with care. Every item has a story. We sort and sell deliberately, not just quickly, because the people whose belongings these were trusted someone to handle them well.
